Applications of the EXCHANGE MODEL |
During the last decade the exchange model has been employed to realize several complex inter-organizational network projects including SIM, SIAN, INA, and SAIA in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of the Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Ministry of the Interior. These networks connected thousands of different sites distributed over all of Italy and handled tens of millions of service requests while ensuring the security and privacy of the involved entities and data. The exchange model has regularly received positive evaluations for example from BELLCORE International Consulting Corporation and from the Rand Corporation (http://www.cnipa.gov.it/site/_files/Linee_guida.rtf).
